Buying books is one of the best feelings everIs there ever such a thing as buying too many books!?!? Also, I forgot I pre-ordered Realmbreaker and it came in the mail as a signed first edition.

I'M SO HAPPY!! Also, a couple of these looks so good and I want to buy them now, particularly House of Hollow and the Ones we're Meant to Find.
Also, you'll have to tell me your thoughts on Six of Crows. I read it and enjoyed it but wasn't as in love with it as others.
Girl how fast do you read?!?!?!?Buying books is one of the best feelings ever
House of Hollow was really good! Chilling with a great atmosphere, especially when you read it at night.
I've already read Six of Crows like five years ago and really liked it. At least way more than Shadow and Bones. And I thought the tv show was pretty good.![]()
House of Hollow is a pretty short bookGirl how fast do you read?!?!?!?
Also, I had to stop reading the Grisha Trilogy because yikes the second book LOST me. I'm so behind on the tv show though oof.
Someone told me that too and then another was like-you don't need to. I mean things from Grisha is addressed or mentioned in SoC but it's not SUPER important. The only thing is it probably helps you understand the world better. But yeah I couldn't get through the second book. But oh a shrot book....me want.House of Hollow is a pretty short book
I had to force myself to finish the Grisha trilogy. A friend told me I need to read the Grisha trilogy otherwise I wouldn't understand Six of Crows.
My face when I found out that you can read both series separately![]()
Here are some fantasy books I enjoyedI'm not knowledgeable about those books in the OP, i'm more of a high fantasy in LoTR , Game of Thrones type.
I kinda want to know wat other books you hv read in your entire reading span of time in case there's titles i might be interested in. I know others here have talked about Six of crows n maybe the Maggie Stiefvater/other books of hers, but they're mostly on hiatus/lurking/inactive/left KS now. Idk if NogaNono is still lurking/browsing thru here or not. Hi, Noga.
Nice cover art tho.
Of those i have read The Poppy War n The Name of The Wind n The Wise Man's Fear (Rothfuss' Kingkiller Chronicles). Here are some fantasy books I enjoyed
The Raven Cycle – Maggie Stiefvater
The Poppy War – R.F. Kuang
An Ember in the Ashes – Sabaa Tahir
The Priory of the Orange Tree – Samantha Shannon
The Bone Season – Samantha Shannon
A Darker Shade of Magic – V.E. Schwabb
The Cruel Prince – Holly Black
Graceling – Kristin Cashore
These Violent Delights – Chloe Gong
There Will Come a Darkness – Katy Rose Pool
I can also recommend Christina Henry's books, she writes dark retellings of fairy tales.
There is also Sarah J. Maas (Throne of Glass and A Court of Thrones & Roses) who is really popular when it comes to adult fantasy, but her books are not for everyone.
Brandon Sanderson and Patrick Rothfuss are super popular as well, but I haven't read their books yet.
I jave The Jade War on my kindle, I hope I can read it soon! Thanks for your recommendationsOf those i have read The Poppy War n The Name of The Wind n The Wise Man's Fear (Rothfuss' Kingkiller Chronicles).
Of the others, i know only about Sanderson, Schwab n Samantha Shannon but i hvnt yet read their books.
The cruel Prince has been discussed before by other users here, including @Jimimis but i dont rmbr wat was said.
I would mention The Jade War by Fonda Lee n Spinning Silver or Uprooted by Naomi Novik as possible books for you to look into but maybe in the future when your budget/financials recover. I read both n enjoyed 'em but ur taste is very different from mine, as naturally it would be. Being different people as we are.

Jade War is kinda a different side of the coin from Poppy War, but less extreme than RF Kuang's trilogy. I kinda stalled out in the last 2 yrs on bothe trilogies tho, even b4 2020.I jave The Jade War on my kindle, I hope I can read it soon! Thanks for your recommendations
