I think Jennies Valentines sells me the most on the Blackpink Valentines over their Rares as the Rare has a different style for her that's more hip while the Valentines focuses more on her beauty.

I mean well you actually stan Blackpink so I hope you'd take their cards over Mamamoo lol but as for the set I think Solar and Hwasas work as much as the ones I think work from Blackpink however I think of Moonbyul and Wheein smiling more same way as Hyojung.

I think their smile really brings their face to life in a way that you just aren't going to match if they aren't smiling.

I dont look at the cards the same way as you do obviously. Even the badges tat we put in our profiles/every post we make here; i think are just too compact n cropped to rlly be perfect in my view. I prefer the signatures/gifs n pfps for an expression of how much i like the idol/artist being portrayed. Cards/Badges unless some day there's a gif card are just too abstract for me to comment much on their aesthetics, same for badges. Also there's hundreds of cards/badges tat staff/users worked hard on tat i dont want to say much to crap on their efforts(i know how much effort i put into my badge attempts/pfps/sigs, so if i extrapolate tat to the 100s/1000? of cards/badges...) its more the limitations of badges/cards tat i cant see past it. I love the cards tat i crave, but its both the idol/artist combined with the association i hv of them with the cards. Not just the picture/design of the idol/artist/card.

A lot of the cards are like tat for me; idk who the unfamiliar idols to me are, but i collect/trade for based on association/impression. Not on the picture of the idol. I think of it more as a difference in direction than just calling something bad or not since me wanting a photo of an idol smiling over a photo of them not smiling versus someone else wanting it the other way comes down to a stylistic choice rather than it just coming down to being good or bad.

Stylistically, i look at whether the grouping of cards matches smh, the whole group or all 5 of soloist cards, or the Pranked set as a whole. But none of tat matters to me when deciding whether to collect/keep cards-solely the association tat grp/idol/artist/person has to me. If i started making a decision based on the picture of them/card design/match stylistically id be down a rabbit hole even more than i am already. Tat way madness lies, for me anyways(unless im already mad from the cards n dont realise it, yet).

i tried posted mine no joy.. ofc i only want a very small number of batch 3 cards any more.

I'm just a fan of Blackpink, Chungha and IU but I have checked out some of Blackpink vlives they've done as I was checking out other groups to stan at the time which included Twice as well and I liked both Blackpink and Twice at the time. The reason I I didn't end up stanning either of them came down to their songs which Twice especially suffered from to the point I don't consider myself a fan even anymore and Blackpink was towards the bottom of that list however the bullying scandals could have bumped them a bit closer but still I don't stan them.

The timing of the Valentines event influenced my decision to collect Blackpink, Chungha and IU as I was mostly listening to Celebrity and Bicycle from 2021 releases s well as quite a bit of Blackpink because of the tournament. Also AOA is another group I was a fan of and were one of the groups that got me into Kpop hence me ending up with them despite not stanning them either.

You have no fear of me collecting Blackpinks Rares though as while I do like the cards however not only do I still need Mamamoo so nothing is off the table yet but I'd be more likely to collect aespa before Blackpink if I did any as I was pondering stanning aespa or Apink before Chorongs scandal and Naeun leaving which just left aespa at that point.

I mean it might take me 89 weeks to complete Mamamoo at this rate with how resistant they are to be pulled I'll see after this comeback if I want to actually look into aespa as I've been waiting to see what SM does with the AI concept so far as I know SM can be stubborn with their ideas like it took them over 3 years to get a successful Velvet side comeback.
