im going to dye my fringe like jennie from how you like that and Im gnna do burgiundy-ish

but like??? is there a method?? i know I'm supposed to wash my hair after but not before, but is there a certain bleach i need to use? or hair dye? whats a good, cheap brand i can use? can i use the bathroom bleach or is there specific hair bleach? send help

Please don't use bathroom bleach

Hair bleach is your best option. I usually use Quick White if I ever need to bleach my hair.

A cheap bleach would be Splat, you can get it at your local Walmart. As far as cheap dye, they do have burgundy colored dyes for pretty cheap, like Garnier I believe?

But as far as bleaching goes, section off the part you want to dye and then apply the bleach from the BOTTOM up. Don’t do the roots just yet though, you can wrap the bleached part in foil but keep checking it. When you see it getting to a light enough color, you can apply the bleach to the roots, but keep an eye on them as they will process faster due to the natural heat from your scalp.

since you’re doing burgundy, you might not have to make it platinum blonde, which means less bleach time and less damage.

Also, don’t wash your hair immediately after. Wait 2-3 days to was the part you dyed, and only wash it with cold or lukewarm water, washing it with hot water will cause the color to fade faster.

If you want to do bright colors, they have some really funky bright colors like blue, purple, red, green, pink, and the color dye comes with the bleach too, so it’s a whole kit

Don't use bathroom bleach... There's this guy who put clorox in his hair and it fell out.. You can go to a hair a hair supply store and get bleaching powder and developer for a reasonable price. Toner would also be a must in that if you bleach it is likely to turn orangey if you have darker hair.. I would consult with someone at the beauty supply store [if you go to one] because some semi-permanent color [as you mentioned burgundy] tend to be rather stubborn to come out. I say this because you didn't specify how long you were going to want such color. Also, when bleaching hair do the roots last since the heat from the scalp processes faster and doing them last would lead to a much more even color than doing them first. . . Also, I would recommend not using 40 developer.

On the topic of Splat don’t use the Splat dye, it sucks
I have no experience with Splat bleach though so that may be alright

i don't want to literally be baldae I was kidding about the bathroom bleach tho lmaooo

i will keep all that in mind!! i will just let the colour un its length and dye it back to black once I get sick of it since my hair is a void anyway so no dif. i read that for dark hair 30 developer is good, and my hair is basically black so I'm gonna look into that kind.
