I have come to realize that summer is really only optimal when temperatures are in the sweet spot that is 60-70 degrees... The 105 temperature that is common in my state sucks..

it really depends on the humidity and your air conditioning situation. I used to live in an area where the humidity was really high and the only air conditioning was a rectangle unit that fit in the window and took hours to cool off even the smallest rooms.. A high humidity can make even 80s feel like mid 90s though. But having central air conditioning can help to mitigate that.
