I wasn’t into it back then but I loved Beginner, UZA and River +++ more of AKB probably. I just discovered jpop through Hello Project first weirdly

My first exposure, I think was Babymetal, yet it didn't grow, even though I loved the songs. These were among my first songs:






Then I knew BiSH, and loved the songs; but it didn't stuck as well.




This is the song that really caused me to follow Japanese idols. It really grew exponentially.

i think the juggernaut aki p and the first few gens created is just crazy inspiring.

Then spinning off the 46 stuff.

Corona is like the worst thing possible for their business i hope they can get thru it and find girls with the fire like the og members had.

ofc they also need more producers since i think he does all the music still he even did sakura's grad song.

I feel you. The first group I stanned was Nogizaka46 back in July 2014. So it was a long time ago

its like the kids were handed the business.. That transition is hard... although i guess there is history in jpop of groups reloading.

I hope they can find new members that will stand out to us and have that energy we enjoy in idol groups!

Yep its hard, Kpop is better set up for this fan free preforming, j idols are much more dependent on fans in the venue.
