as am i , but i am conflicted over so many retreads and kids in groups.
Especially given we do not to my knowledge know contract length yet.

I am not fond of the Somi / Sakura type deal that is so inherently unfair to the rest of the kids.

Yeah those were unfortunate but i hope this time it could be more fair to everyone in general.

Yeah, seems like there is always gonna be someone popular joining these type of shows. I hope the voting criteria would favor on skills & capabilities more.

i do not mind a charmer or just some one who connects with ppl , but its is odd that in each of the 3 female shows i have watched one girl who is clearly less skilled/ suited to the job technically. makes it.

I always wonder how much all the shooting before the show goes live impacts the broadcast decisions..

ie as ppl jump out first week does that change them from og plans?

it would be crazy if they had pre broadcast focus groups who saw rough cuts and that was given priority.

i am sure that is what in house producers do though.

there probably are
like there were many rumours last year (+production made it pretty obvious) that for ywy2 271 struck a deal with siba so that they will secure one high rank spot for one of the snh girls so that snh fans don't monopolize the entire rankings (which is why later on you see a lot of the members get rigged down super badly vs kiki who got a lot of screentime from day 1 even as tako was technically the 7senses center)
chuang2021 had a similar deal with avex afaik, but the avex guys got too popular so they could only try and keep caelan out of top11 and accept that 3/11 were going to be from avex
