But yeah. the trailer for it wasn't even that good. And then there's the social commentary surrounding it. There's a debate going on about if a diverse cast is warranted given that LOTR is based on a fictionalized European Medieval societies... and then the counter argument is that white people are uncomfortable seeing non-whites in movies.... and I'm just like "this s**t again..."
