    And I can go on and on and on about the things that some netizens do to tick me off (well, without interaction but things that I see that annoy me...)

    If you let me get started, I'd write a full-on 2 page list (all separated by commas) on annoying things netz say or do so don't let me do that 😂

    It's that kind of thinking that is causing younger groups to debut these days. I see people in shock over the baemon stuff and me... ig yes and no. We've been increasingly seeing this trend with groups, so I'm not really that surprised, but also like... wow 13!

    It's kind of funny because this trend existed in 2nd gen and 3rd gen (IDK about 1st gen but does anyone even know about that one?) but people only care about the explosion of this gen. I think we can all agree though, that even though there were idols debuting at a young age, I don't think it was this common. People say "oh, it's not a big deal, it's always been happening." Not when you have 4th gen groups where most of them have at least one member 16 and under. And they kind of just keep getting younger and younger...like some of these ages, a lot of idols were trainees at those ages. Now they're debuting in legitimate groups that aren't built for children. They used to have children groups where it was normal to have really young kids (like Korean-based Kids Bop) but now those ages are debuting in these groups. And the main problem is the lyrics and outfits that are given to them. They get so many complaints that underaged idols are being sexualized. They're not even close to the point where you can safely say "they're expressing themselves because they're proud of their body"...when you put kids in certain clothes and give the group certain lyrics, it just doesn't sit well. And for some reason, that's also a trend these days.

KpopSource began as a small blog called ksource, created by a dedicated K-Pop fan known as @Sourcekeeper. Frustrated by the decline of welcoming, discussion-driven communities, she set out to build something different — a space where fans could talk, connect, and stay for the long term.
