For now we’re over the worst of it (as in non-40C) but the weather presenters said yesterday our temperatures are going to be above normal til about mid-August at least.

A town about 30 miles from me had so many fires in the area yesterday going into today, and that’s in northern England. So many trains were cancelled because the tracks buckled and were on fire. It was crazy.

Congrats on getting approved! I had it done 12yrs ago. It’s super quick, like done in about a minute quick. For about a week your eyes will feel a little gritty and be more light sensitive, but you’ll see the difference by the next morning. Totally worth it!
