so five exams for my five subjects in the boards (march) then five exams in the cuet (may) - for two of my high school subjects and then english, math, and general knowledge. plus whatever priv university entrance tests i have to give.

mmm not really - and that's the funny part. earlier the scores you got on these board exams counted for university entrances, specifically the state universities (cause a lot of privately owned ones have their own tests). sure some lines of study have their own exams - like engineering...
