The budget jumped out!

The article suggests that SM acquired The Hub. I don't know if that's a dodgy translation, but interesting if true, no? SM making bank off NMIXX releases is funny.

Haven't felt this optimistic about a Twice release in like four years. Everything I've heard from I've Got You sounds wonderful.

Seems really weird to me. Firstly, the BDS National Committee obviously hasn't called for a boycott of any k-pop company. Nor have they, in the following page, made any note of a grassroots effort to boycott any k-pop company...

Zimzalabim was a cultural reset Icy is one of the best produced kpop songs ever Scientist is pop perfection Tank is a creepy and mysterious bop NCT-127 have never released a bad title track

I am ancient but I'm pretty sure the only Icona Pop song I've ever heard is their one with Charli XCX But also the entire '10s is a lost decade to me so

It needs verses. At least it has the Saweetie one ig.

Throwing a 13 (?) year old with very limited live experience in front of a crowd of like 50k people is... something. Hopefully they can handle it! I've seen some seriously toxic responses about this from Twice stans. Exhausting.

It has single-handedly saved kpop.

I looped Dash just to make sense of it (the bit just before the second proper chorus when the singer slows down is insane, wtf), and... It grew on me so much, despite my hatred of jazz and rnb! It's really good. But then! I listened to the album. Friends, it's amazing. Legit one of the best...

So, it's not my thing (it's super smooth - but I do love the funk bass), but damn I really admire the hell out of it. The vocal melodies & harmonies are incredible, so unusual yet so good. If I was a more vocal-orientated listener this would be a GOAT-tier kpop title track for me. Really...

I lurk a couple subs. It's full of... A certain type of person, let's say.

I checked out when Not Shy dropped and came back for this one. idk if that bolsters the theory or not Songs like Cake were never going to do it for me in a million years. I hear the performance metrics on this comeback are dreadful though, so I think catering to my tastes is a huge financial...

This is incredible

Are you not engaging the boost on the boat There's no way swimming is faster

I love it. So good to hear boom-bap (and actual turntablism!) these days. Felt the same way about Jack in the Box. This is my comfort zone. I was a bit worried about J Cole, I find the dude kinda corny but... his verse is good!

help I can't stop listening to it. Their songs are usually growers, but this one had its hooks from the second listen. The climax is so good.

Coming from a certified key change hater: This is incredible.

I feel like the other Atmospheres on this EP were actually better, and I say that as the president of the RAY fanclub

It's easily Butterfly Effect by Ray: To be honest, if I was to compile my top ten, it would be entirely Ray and dots but that's boring. I'll exclude Perfume and also Bish because if you know BiS you probably know Bish... Yume by Maison Book Girl might be up there though, it's just majestic...
