With my laptop sometimes not wanting to turn on, I have everything stored on my google drives. So I usually save everything in one folder on my desktop now and back it up

Depends. Personally, I would like to have a max. gap of 10 years (my bf is 7 years older, but no one really notices that tbh). But if you like each other (and if it's not illegal) then it doesn't matter how big the gap is.
