The Pandominion duology is Infinity Gate and Echo of Worlds. Though The Girl With All the Gifts would work too, tbh. Just hadn't read that one as recently for it to come to mind.

If you like scifi, then the Pandominion duology by MR Carey or The Murderbot Diaries by Martha Wells. Both of those take a while for the "unbreakable bonds" part to play out. If you need something short, then arguably Thornhedge by T. Kingfisher, which is a Sleeping Beauty retelling.

That's a good point. There are times I'm interested in seeing something, but it never comes to the theater I go to.

I think I want to see: Wicked: For Good The Running Man (tentatively, I really liked the book though) Mickey 17 And that's it, really. Maybe if another movie gets a ton of hype and my friends want to see it.

If you're not sure what's coming out, I found this spreadsheet someone put together of all the confirmed wide releases for 2025 (along with their predictions of success, but ignore that part).
