I feel like i-fans would vote for a group that would not appeal to the Korean market at all. If that were to happen, the group is almost guaranteed to flop. Whether we like it or not, with the exception of BTS, the Korean market is still 80% responsible for if a group makes it in the industry or...

They initially did let Japanese people vote but scrapped the system just before the show started. It was a very last minute scrap too.
