right right. The breakdown in US schools is: Elementary Schools=5-10 Middle School=11-13 High School=14-17. . . I think you could add another: Pre University for which are AP classes for which they can earn both high school and college credits. Though its not required.

I'm not sure if High School means the same in the UK that it does in the US... but here people don't start HS until 13 minimum unless they jumped grades.
