In an effort to connect with my paternal lineage who immigrated from Warsaw I am listening to Polish music... Anyway this artist poked out at me and I'm currently obsessed with this song:
People aren't likely to complain for hours about such experiences, as they just find such questions distasteful. But you could use the same logic and say I should stay out of the kitchen because I cut my hand on broken glass and complained about it.. lol
Depending on the region people do use it less. but that person has a history of saying extremely problematic things to me, so... but regardless if its said a lot or said a little its something that shouldn't be said.
When the response to the answer is disbelief there is an assumption that the person who asks the question has. And I'm not talking about formal situations where an employee has to inquire about one's age for medical or other similar reasons.
That sucks... Similar to handing someone your id and them saying ... sorry sweetie we don't need that we can see you're over 21... Hasn't happened to me, but I've similar happen to others.
There are assumptions behind the question. Its like asking someone when they are due only to find out they aren't pregnant. That sort of thing never ends well.
