Blackpink's music and concept has lot more western appeal, it's follows what is current and trendy in the west, it gives this powerful image. YGE does this on purpose and also promotes Blackpink in a west lot more than JYP and SM do their groups. I think Blackpink is pretty much perfect group...

Basically if ur content is not family-friendly it gets demonetized and if it appeals to children you can get fined. So you have to do family friendly content that doesn't appeal to children :sanathink:

I guess it depends on how strict it will be in practise. Tumblr was pretty much killed by the nsfw-ban and algorithm that tagged everything nsfw that wasn't even close didn't help it. There has been lot of harsh changes in youtube, but it and creators have adapted so it's possible this won't...

Youtube actually has Youtube KIDS already and you have to be over 13 to have account on actual youtube. But that wasn't enough for FTC. I actually don't think youtube should monitor any more than they do cause there is already huge issues on how strict the algorithms are already. Youtube does...

But this just seems like FTC's way to bully youtube cause how it's their fault parents are letting kids to watch and how can they know if kid is watching or adult. Youtube even has age...

Maybe it will be fun to some kids, but yea the idea just seems bad and it doesnt' even seem to relate to kpop that much. Could be just as well girl and her friend trying to become opening act for Jonas Brothers or One Direction.

That plot seems both rly random and boring, i don't rly see any way of this actually being entertaining.

Yep I was just thinking that although she has had controversies they haven't really stayed with her and impacted to her reputation unlike with GD who is someone who also tops the charts always when he releases sth, but his reputation is still pretty tarnished. IU's reputation is high as ever now...

Actually IU's public image has bounced back a lot, I think she's mostly loved right now and not even seen as that controversial. Haven't seen hate comments towards her in ages ^^
