I know a lot of adaptations are shit but sometimes you just want a your favorite reads to be a movie.
The Gemma Doyle Trilogy was supposed to be turned into a movie but idk what happened. X.X and it sucks because that would have been such a beautiful movie. ​

sadly i have stopped wishing for this as most are bad to awful.
Even the ones that are well received or do big bucks are a pale copy (i would say poor copy ) of the original.(looking at you lotr)

for example most of my comic book friends hate the x men franchise.
