I find it funny now but during the moment I was freaking out, so feel free to laugh at me.
Tonight I went to work and as I drove up to the dentist office I needed to clean I noticed two workers cars were still in the parking lot. I knew that one of them was to a lady I’ve known for a few years now (We’ll call her C for the purpose of the thread) who’s usually always there when I clean this particular place but the other person (we’ll call them E) I had never met. Usually I just wait out in my car like a creep and wait for E to leave
but I could have swore when I pulled in I saw her already in her car getting ready to leave, so I went into the building to clean.
I began taking out boxes (mind you I’m opening up office doors and making lots of noise to let C know I’m there). Then I hear C begin to talk to someone… E was still there. And from what I could tell neither of them seemed to know I was in the building.
My brain just stopped, a normal person would have just went up to E, introduce themselves and moved on, what do I do? I hid
I wish I was joking but nope after realizing that somehow neither of them knew I was in the building I hid. Thankfully it was only for about 10 minutes because when I got there E was preparing to leave. But I literally had to tiptoe around, keeping an ear out for her while also not being seen by C because then if she saw me I’d have to explain I was hiding from her coworker because I didn’t want to interact with a stranger.

My biggest fear was E finding me hiding and then having to explain myself to this stranger that I’m the 24 year old janitor who hid at the first sign of human interaction and please don’t tell your other coworkers or my boss.
