A world with no Visuals! (2 Viewers)

@MK3AM made me think of this. If there were no visuals in K-pop. I'm not just talking the "Visual" in a group. I mean no hair, no make up, no fancy sets, exotic MV's, no choreo. You don't even know what your favorite group's memebers look like! Just vocals. Imagine only listening to k-pop from CD's. Is there any group's you'd no longer be interested in. Would you even be a K-Pop fan? The first group that comes to mind is BlackPink. I don't think I'd miss them at all. I think I'd also lose all interested in Kep1er. It really changes how you think of K-Pop when you put it in terms of pure Vocals. And I'm not putting K-Pop down. I think what makes K-pop amazing is the combination of Vocals, visuals, and dance. I love how it can take a group with not so amazing vocals like ITZY and make them over the top amazing.

I do think it would make it less appealing, especially in the dance and mv aspect. Honestly I really can't see myself losing interest in any of the groups I stan though. I like their music too much.

Red Velvet would still be my undisputed fav group.... their vocal talent is equal to their visuals. Wendy alone is enough to keep them at #1 and WAY above the rest of the groups.

I think NMIXX would become my #2 group though. TWICE produces catchy song after catchy song, but if I didn't know how amazingly gorgeous they all were and was just going on the vocals... they'd be taken down a few spots.

I think I agree somewhat, RV's does have amazing Vocals and wouldn't be hurt without visuals. Imagine loving them for years without Visuals and then seeing them for the first time. All the Emergency Rooms would be overrun with unstoppable bloody noses.

sure if i consider someone's music absolute shit no amount of fancy choreos or pretty faces would change that. i listen to most of my favourite music on headphones while doing stuff anyway and i don't have their faces in front of me all the time so while i love looking at aesthetically pleasing mvs from time to time, if the music is good then it's good i don't care for the rest.

It would be weird in a way because visuals (outside of the superficial context) are important for an album concept and build up. By example an album cover is usually there to tell you what to expect before listening to it.
