Just thinking... it's funny to me to see people hating on them because they're too young for the pressures of idol life, and meanwhile, the haters are the ones providing the pressure and bullying. Like let the girls breathe, damn.

Dem Jointz has literally been producing for top talent (e.g. Rihanna, Eminem, Christina Aguilera, Janet Jackson) for YEARS. He doesn't need AI to make a hit. And say what you will about LSM's love for making his idols use lip sync, but he's never put out a group that flat out couldn't actually sing.

As for the MV,
(1) It's not like the girls personally made and edited the MV themselves, and
(2) I don't love AI, but South Korea certainly does, and it's weird to hold a rookie group to a standard that the rest of the industry is not. Anyone who cares about where AI might have touched their faves can just look at olongworks insta. A2O LITE used them for the TECHWORLD photos, but so has xikers, ALLDAY PROJECT, BABYMONSTER, NiziU, SEVENTEEN, BTS, CORTIS, Monsta X, i-dle, P1Harmony, RIIZE, MEOVV, Big Bang's Taeyang, ENHYPEN, Somi, NMIXX, INI, Stray Kids, Stray Kids' Hyunjin, ALL(H)OURS, Yena, Woodz, TUNEXX, ATEEZ, WHIB, EXO, NCT DREAM... and I got bored of looking at this point. And that is just ONE known AI VFX guy working in the industry. (And also, if AI was used in the MV, then I don't know why they would only claim credit for the photos and not the MV too.)

The hypocrisy in fans is aggravating to me. Don't support them or any other groups with minors in them or who use AI if that is in conflict with your values -- sincerely, love that for you, you should act in line with your values -- but then be consistent.

its just crazy. I get it 13 is young and 7-12 starting (not saying any of these girls were at 7 ) but if its not formal agency training you know many of all these idols (the majority of whom are mid to well to crazy rich) start on this path before 10. To be that good especially at dance takes lots and lots of work. The laughable idea that they should not start until high school is just not real world.
Its it optimal for child hood development ... i think the nuclear failures of some Disney kids covers that. but There are many who have a fantastic life.

And think of from the agency point, kids today have like zero appetite for delayed gratification in anything.

Right, it's just part of being competitive at that level. I was just talking with a friend this past weekend about how crazy sports parents are at her local, small town high school, where it's like... Susie isn't going to the Olympics. Susie started running two years ago, and people who are competitive on that level have had parents who have supported them on this path since they were much younger than that. Simone Biles started at 6, Michael Phelps started at 7. And for something more relevant to kpop, G-Dragon started at 6. I remember him saying at, before he was seriously targeting to debut in Big Bang, it was more like, here's the thing I do after school, the same way a kid might have a dance class or piano lessons or soccer practice. And it's hard to imagine that the late 90s/early 2000s were somehow better at protecting him on his dream toward being an idol than the current laws are now.

I 100% get people who don't want to support any group that debuts minors, like that's your decision and comfort level, but then also don't listen to CORTIS or OURBIRTHDAY or UNCHILD... And focus supporting groups who debut with all adults, like KickFlip or OWIS or hrtz.wav. But we know what people do in actuality.

What i really think is a large portion of the trolls are just envious that they did nothing with the life they were given.

Reminds me of a Ben Hogan story.

a fan watches Ben Hogan hit flawless balls on the range for hours and sighs, "Man, I'd give anything to hit it like that." Hogan looks over and replies:

"No you wouldn't. You wouldn't give the blood, the sweat, and the tears it takes to hit it like that."
The price elite performers pay in many cases is just mind blowing. and This is the same in business. Founders do not work 9-5. Excellence rarely just happens there is a steep price always. In anything. Always made me question actors because they seem to be sooo clueless to this fact. maybe in that world it is just luck.
