Event [Advent Event] Mafia: Round 1 (2 Viewers)

Alright, you guys have signed up for Round 1, I will send your guy's roles in a little bit~
The round will start in approximately 10 minutes!
One thing that is key with this game is that I want all of you to go into your settings and make sure you turn off your activity notifications! This is to ensure that others cannot see your activity and guess your role through that~

Just to reiterate:
For those who have never played this game, it's pretty simple:

- there are two groups of people: the Mafia players and the Civilian players
- there are also two phases of the game: the Daytime phase and the Nighttime phase
- the objective of the game is for the Civilians to eliminate all the Mafia members and for the Mafia members to eliminate enough Civilians to become the majority group
- however, none of the Civilians know whether the other people of the game are part of the Mafia or the Civilians while the Mafia members know what the other people are
- during the Daytime phase of the game, the Civilians select one person to be killed if they believe that person to be part of the Mafia
- during the Nighttime phase, the Mafia select one Civilian to be killed
- the Mafia must lie throughout the entire game and act as though they are Civilians so that the Civilians don't kill them
- there are also key roles among the civilians such as the doctor (who, at each nighttime phase, can save a player he or she thinks the mafia has killed) and the detective (who, at each nighttime phase, can DM a player he or she thinks is in the mafia to the moderator and the moderator will answer yes or no)
- whichever group fulfills their objective first wins~!

Now, how will this exactly work in a forum?
Well, the moderator (aka me) will assign whoever signs up to play to either the Mafia group or the Civilian group. Each person will be notified which role they have before the game. The game will then happen in a separate thread that will be made by me for each round that we play. During the Daytime phase, all discussions between all players will be conducted there and the decision on who to kill will be made there as well. The Mafia group will have their own private DM where they can discuss who they would like to kill during the Nighttime phase. Every round between the daytime and the nighttime phase will be 15 minutes, and the voting will occur during that time as well.

In order to kill a user, you must tag the moderator (me).

If you want to change your vote, do not edit your original vote. Instead, write a new post and unkill user1 and kill user2.
