the girls look like their being held hostage and forced to record this oh well, at least some of the aesthetics are nice.. (not that godforsaken vine one..) and why couldn't they keep the first set, with the hip-hop vibe ? the genre switch in this was not it. it didn't sound unique and nice like in 'next level'. it sounded cheap, and I can imagine any group releasing this. it's not unique, not aespa, it's just.. there.. even 'forever' was better !

also why are the vocals so quiet ?? like the beeping overpowers ningning's voice a lot.. and it does the same to the other members.. maybe it's just my device or something

I wasn't feeling it on first listen, but I think that was more bcs I love the original Dreams come true a LOT, so I was constantly comparing and when it was different it felt off

BUT

I've listened a few more times... and I like it! I even like the pitched up rap in a strange way!It's not perfect and there are SOME parts I would've done a slight bit different, but the overall product I really really like! I still prefer the original version, but this is definitely not bad in my eyes!

I LOVE the music video! I love the white fancy outfits (Giselle's dress is ssososoososo STUNNING!!!!!) I also love how the ae's are there but not like.... too much. (I can't stand it when they make the ae's dance, it looks so awkward lmao)

haha I just find it really cheap and tacky. I enjoy 'forever', somewhat. it's a nice dong to listen to once in a while, but it isn't that strong and fades into the background, especially compared to other aespa tracks. so this fades into the background even more then 'forever', which is impressive in all the wrong ways..

oh well, to each their own !

I overall really like ballads and more chill and dreamy songs (Or the total opposite rock/metal I adore as well) Which is honestly why I wish Dreams come true cut out some of the more harder parts. I like the beginning but later on in the 2nd verse it was kinda unnecessary imo

I loved it. Probably more than the original, due to the interesting arrangement (including the prominent synth organ and harder-edged vocals).

I also liked that our "rappers" had more singing parts than rapping parts.

Yes, that made for a nice "Huh!?" moment. And it went on for only a few seconds so (at least for me) it didn't get to the point where it became annoying.
