New MV aespa - 'Savage' MV (2 Viewers)

My prediction: Someone will take the anime bridge of the Savage MV and turn it into a whole new MV.

I love it, still hvnt fully listened to all the songs on the EP yet, maybe just ICONIC but I love it too.

The only jarring thing I dont like is the ae more cos the design I think. I love the anime/2d style animation tat comes on l8r. Those are cute n more 'fitting' to aespa imo. I'm getting more used to Kwangya, Kosmo, Synk n watever as in the lyics(I only listened 2 times without paying much attention the lyrics, moreso the music n singing. I'm not objective on this at all.

can we keep anime aespa and get rid of the weird cg models, I think it was Winter's one that looked really off to the other 3 during the dancing parts

The thing abt the ae is tat they look/seem 25 yes old, sexy vixens like FF or Soul Calibur type characters, or DOA Dead or Alive thingie. Whereas K/DA members are age appropriate somewat but aespa are younger than GIDLE members.

The anime character version just seem more fitting to aespa's members ages n not the ae version.

for me its not even that they or dont look like their age, the animation quality, the models itself just don't look too well integrated in the mv itself, especially the dancing parts, i had to keep replaying the part at 2:46 because Ningning's ae version just doesn't seem to fit/synchronized with everyone else (her movements seems to be shorter/shortened and not as extended as everyone else, which just takes off the attention immediately, because its a flaw thats easily visible)

As I'm a graphic artist casually interested in animating(im more a pen n paper artist, tho I do dtp on com), character work usually is done by a different artist per characyer-so person A might animate/be responsible for character 1, n so forth-if person A, B, C,D abilities n skill level/brief(brief being the description/design instruction of character given to artist) are different, then tat might be wat happened with Ningning-I just nvr noticed cos the ae are the least interesting part to me n I dint pay much attention. I mostly focused on their singing, music n choreo. I overlook the visual except where I find it interesting/offputting-I ignore the ae, n like the anime version.

Ok listened ..... if they sang the whole time i would most likely be able to take it, and enjoy it.
as it is i had to force myself to not click out.

as to the ae toons its clear that they were done years apart. K looks so bad compared to the others. like it from a totally different era.

Yes, Aespa's music is shaping up to be more similar to NCT's than to any SM girl group's. Even the way they dance reminds me of EXO and NCT choreos.
