almost 15 years in for me and it still does not really change.
Especially for newer acts.
For example i remember very little push back over joy/ crush.
Taeyeon got killed but Exo was still kinda new (ie not around teh 7 year mark)
Yoona LSG was chill push back wise but they had a ton of eyes.
