...and this time I'm not new to the forums OR K-pop! lol

Name: Stephanie, but you can call me Steph or Steffi (I'm not German, but I prefer Steffi spelled this way lol); my mom simply liked the name enough to give it to me. But my middle name is after St. Clare of Assisi, which has a lot of meaning to my mom.

Age/birthday: 35, 3/1/1986 (fun fact: I share a bday with Wonho from Monsta X! Actually, it was bc of that fact, that I started stanning. lol)

Birthplace/places I've lived: I was born in Marietta, Georgia (a decent-sized town northwest of Atlanta), but I've also lived in Matthews, North Carolina (just east of Charlotte), Fairfield, Ohio (a suburb northwest of Cincinnati), and the west side of Cincinnati proper. As of 2019, I've been living in Norwood, which is about ten or twenty minutes northeast of downtown.

Orientation/pronouns: straight female, she/her

First exposure to K-pop: Surprisingly, it was NOT Gangnam Style! lol It was actually through another forum I used to go on. It was a forum for fans of this one-hit-wonder, wannabe rock group (emphasis on WANNABE) The Click Five, and when they started touring Asia, the fans there quickly found the forums and made it their second home. They also would talk about groups from Asia, and at the time it was Shinee and Super Junior who were popular. I still didn't really get into K-pop until way later bc I was just more into other genres (mainly Western pop and pop punk) at the time.

First K-pop group: BTS. The only reason I even started giving them attention was bc of a pic of Namjoon somebody tweeted. NGL I used to have a lot of beef with the fandom for putting down 1D and their fans, but obvs I've buried the hatchet and fully stan BTS now, along with several others! (they're listed in my sig)

Other fandoms I'm in: Backstreet Boys (duh, I'm a '90s kid! lol), Ariana Grande, 5 Seconds of Summer, Shawn Mendes, Camilla Cabello, Ed Sheeran, Why Don't We, 1D solo acts

Oh, and here's a little more about me!

I was born with special needs:
-facial palsy - This is part of a disorder I have called CHARGE syndrome. The palsy is on the left side of my face, and because of it, I have a crooked smile and my left eye doesn't close properly.
-legal blindness - They knew right away that I'd be visually impaired if not blind bc my left eye was (and still is) a lot smaller than my right. I wasn't officially diagnosed legally blind until middle or high school, though. To adapt, I use large fonts on my computer, hence the large font on my sig, and I use a cane and wear glasses.
-hearing impairment - I wasn't diagnosed hard of hearing until almost one, when I wouldn't react to my mom calling my name. She thought I was just being stubborn at first! lol I have a mild to moderate hearing loss in one ear and moderate to severe in the other; they're also mismatched in shape.
