Already hit my main goals and lived there too, but I really want to visit the Ukraine, China, Taiwan, Korea, Hong Kong, Vietnam, Israel, Argentina, Kenya, Botswana, and Zambia.

Bangladesh and bhutan

it’s cultural tho Since I’m bengali so I really wanna go for my people to Bangladesh and bhutan borders where my parents are from and is also himalayan but I really really really love gross domestic happiness i much and I really love how they managed to keep their culture but still make progress and development holistically (like health care socioeconomic equality, literacy) without becoming westernized

I admire that the Bhutanese government has managed to retain it's culture, but the current government uses the gross domestic happiness index as propaganda to distract from the fact that they committed ethnic cleansing to their ethnic Nepali community because they were Hindus not Buddhists to preserve their Gross National Happiness. It's also been used as a way within Bhutan as a deterrant to people wanting to emigrate as most do not speak English or any other international languages while being propagated outside of Bhutan as a way to make the living conditions appear better than they are. I'm not attacking your opinion on wanting to go, but the GNH that the Bhutanese government portrays internationally isn't the reality within Bhutan. That being said it's an extremely fascinating country with a unique culture that has been largely untouched by modern technology, so it would be an amazing country to visit.

Not to be a bother, but it's just Ukraine, not the Ukraine. The latter implies that it's just a territory rather than being a country in itself. I know that's not how you meant it, but it's just something to watch out for : )

i have done extensive research on this and my dad grew up with Bhutanese peopl

Bc of them being the last vajryana Buddhist country in the world, and trying to keep their culture in tact, and the national happiness being based on vajryana Buddhism’s values they were trying to force their traditional dress and some customs and since the nepalis were Hindus

and all the refugees

whiles it’s mostly bhutanese there’s some ethnic Nepalis and some of the many Indian ethnic groups in bhutan bc of location

Sri Lanka has similar situation with Tamils

but the gross national happiness measures 9 domains none of which was related to or would be increased by that

my research was specifically with the thesis can a country make progress holistically with a government based on ideas from any religious ideals without discriminating against the people who don’t follow that religion

japan even used Buddhism as tool of power for nobility against lower classes

best case is emperor ahsoka in ancient India

People of Any religion can use and interpret their stuff for violence and prejudice

while everyone says Christianity never said that Islam never said that wtv
