ok, so since our school computer's cameras are bad and it makes it hard to see what i've written down, i'll type out what i have

so for the first triangle i think you'll use cos, which will end up with it being: cos(a/3)

for the second you'll use sin, which will end up with it being: sin(d/7)

i'm missing numbers T^T
the part that confuses me is how to find the missing numbers you need to solve the equation ;-; i know you need to add division/multiplication into it, but i'm clueless on how to find the number to do it with

What you want to be inputting for theta is an angle. In this angle, it’s given as 45 degrees, and it appears you’re using the bottom left one. Rewrite it with the angle and you get this instead:

Now you have mostly numbers, with one variable. Solve what cos(45 degrees) is, such as with a caclculator. Then multiply both sides by 3, and you should be left with a=whatever number you get. With that knowledge you think you could solve the next one to see if it makes sense to you?

Also it helps to realize triangle 1 is equilateral. ie both sides will be the same length. ie square root of 3
as a way to check really fast.
i find it helps to see if an answer makes sense.

Which triangle are You referring To? It’s been a while since I’ve done this stuff but I see no equilateral triangles here in this thread I see an isosceles one, but the numbers still seem weird for that

i am a moron i was picking the isosceles with the twin 45's
and my math was fubar anyway as its sqr of 4.5 i hate when i mess up the basic math...
That is what i get for not writing out the equation.
sad math major ... no excuse even if tired. so bad. Thats a f for the day.
cant let the family see this after all the help thru hs math.

The basic point i wanted was that no matter what the answer i get when i do problems. i try to see if it makes sense.
To avoid the hey i got an answer lets move on mindset.
gonna go back to my girl groups now.
