at this time, i don't feel that badly about my appearance, but i don't take compliments such as "you look manly/like a boy" very seriously. they're probably just trying to validate me at times i can believe that i'm cute, however. it's normal, i think, to not see yourself as others do. we're limited by only seeing our reflections and pictures, never seeing ourselves as we truly are. besides, it's easy to be self-critical
