Yeah that'd do it although I also saw people defending New Jeans song Cookies lyrics which there was some mistranslations apparently but when people brought up concern about the lyrics there was push back that they were just "overanalyzing" the lyrics and that they were the problem here like ignoring questionable things because you don't want to believe your idol is in a potentially harmful position isn't the way to go about it.

Could be since the thing with situations like this is that some of these people are very good at giving themselves an out to cover up their true intentions and in this scenario the fans doing it doesn't help because if anyone was going to catch her out it'd be in her trying to defend her own actions as she'd be more likely to slip up there

i dont think most of the sm stans care at all about new jeans. Aespa is a monster for those sm stans that care about new gen gg.

new jeans is not even in lesserafim territory let alone ive or Stayc of the 4th gen kids from the numbers i have seen.

This kinda came up and she can low key say something. Commenting on her own would have been way too much. Throwing out an emoji is low energy and low risk.

I wouldn't say good on Yeri because she herself was involved in rumors about dating adult idols like Chanyeol and Taeyong while she was underage. Of course, she'd be a victim in that case. This was one of the reasons Yeri received SO much hate in the early years, even getting deadly physical violence threats on VLIVE from a Taeyong stan. Who knows, maybe she is trying to hint at something. The entertainment industry is very dangerous for young females because of the adults in power who only look out after their own profit and desires, and young female fans who shield them. Look at Kris, the Chinese government literally had to step in because of his predatory behavior involving underage girls, yet he still gets defended by many of his female fans.
