I honestly don't remember anything Kakao owns other than Edam because of IU which idk if it's because they're just kind of there for me or they are just there for the most part.

Kakao is definitely something to keep a close eye on then if they do end up with SM as that has room to go poorly if they end up trying something

Kakao distributing globally is pretty odd and just sounds like they'd be hoping the presence of SMs groups carry everything

The Koreaboo article also says Kakao is also looking into concerts and fanmeetings so they'd have full control of SM by the sounds of it which I'd be skeptical of that working just because it's pretty hard to create a formula for SMs style because they tend to create a style for a group and then they'll diversify it from there but everything will sound like it belongs to the group.

Kakao has nothing to show they're capable of holding that together and while they could just stick to known producers of SM songs for existing groups for future groups that could prove to be a serious issue in holding that identity up.
