There is some judging and I find it hard to find a table but other than that school is normal for me

my high school was 10-12 and we had ~ 3k students.....
now its 9-12 and over 4 k so everything kinda exists

I think my year had like 110 graduates and those were 4 classes divided into two specialised majors. that sounds interesting though.
did you like that it was so big or would you have preferred to have a smaller class?

I liked it.
Far easier to find your ppl and hang with them and let the rest of the eco system churn :)

I think a smaller school could be nice but its the small town issue where everyone knows ya and has an opinion ..

I wouldn't say every school, but bullying and popularity are definitely a thing in American schools

There were bullies, who usually were also the class clowns or just troublemakers. Talking about people is real but it was always done in a discreet manner, not like

, which is pretty much how it looks in the movies.

As for popularity, sure for all kinds of things -- intelligence, skills on the basketball court, things you'd rather not be popular for...

My high school had bullies, sure - even a fight or two every now and then - but idk about the rest. The most popular guy in school was actually friendly with everyone, as was the most popular girl. Actually, we weren't even really that cliquey at all!

I feel like most of them are really exaggerated, it's better to view those movies as such, in my school it was pretty calm, if you didnt like one person you just didnt talk to them and ignored them altho from time to time there was some chatter behind someones back
