i think after surviving the 2nd gen with lyrics such as "time to stop try calculate you making me frustrate", i can listen to anything. the amount of times i've bopped to songs with "bibbidi bobbidi boo" or "hakuna matata" in them is sad i'm not proud

k-pop or not, i don't care for the lyrics unless they're offensive or something as long as the song itself is good. even if the lyrics sound like they were made using the predictive text feature, i don't care at all. when it comes to k-pop, i don't even understand most of the lyrics and i don't bother to look them up. when a song is in english and the lyrics are bad then it's a bit worse i guess but it still doesn't stop me from enjoying the song itself. so that's why i really don't get when people say that a song needs to have a deep meaning behind the lyrics to be considered good, for me no matter how meaningful the lyrics are if the song is unlistenable i'm not going to force myself to like it.
this is the 3rd time today i've written something looking like a whole essay on this forum, i don't even know why i'm in a mood for such long posts

I guess I'm in the minority because it's a yes for me. I don't read K-Pop song translations because it turns me off from the song in most cases. I also never listen to the English version of songs because it's too cringe for me to deal with. If they have a few cringe lines but are mostly in Korean, then I won't care. I can listen to them without any issues I mean I stan SM groups lol. But if the entire song is cringe and I can understand it then no way in hell am I listening to it.
