i don't really have a problem with ending fairies but some of them make me want to bang my head on the wall

I mean yes, but it wasnt the norm. Usually fans made fancams, thus the name. But seeing how many views it garnered music stations began tonmake for all the members.

when did they change occur?
I've only been around since 2019 so in the grand scheme of things I haven't been a kpop fan that long but to me it was always the music shows that did fancams...

A fancam should be a video of a performance, that's just stalking

in that case i think Fan cams are fine as long as the Fan is being respectful of how they are filming the idol (especially female idols...)

Around 2014, mnet even made a channel dedicated just for fancams
Also the time Exid Hani's fancam became viral
