in my head, I would sometimes think of them as "t 1 ... uhhh too many fucking numbers. that boy group" lol.

That reminds me of the title of Everglow's mini-album that had Dun Dun as the title.

The one with all the numbers.

I think I just started calling it Coordinates.

In that thread, I mentioned these two groups as well.

fromis_9 -- According to Wikipedia, it was meant to be pronounced like the word "promise", but with the letter F.
In the Korean alphabet, there is no F letter, but there is a P so the label could have just logically and easily used Promis_9 as the name and not confuse others.

(G)I-DLE -- When I first saw this, I thought the G was silent because it was inside the parentheses, referring to them as just I-DLE.
So, I actually researched it in Wikipedia, and surprisingly the G was supposed to be pronounced.

I stand corrected.
I think it's also silly to input number of members in the names, especially when some of them could potentially leave in the future.

tbh I spent a lot of time pronouncing it Two-Ehn-Eee-Wun instead of 21 for 2NE1 so there's that.

When I saw it the first time, it reminded me of the words "psychology" and "psychiatry" where the P was silent/not said.
