That reminds me of the title of Everglow's mini-album that had Dun Dun as the title.in my head, I would sometimes think of them as "t 1 ... uhhh too many fucking numbers. that boy group" lol.
In that thread, I mentioned these two groups as well.fromis_9 and (G)I-DLE.
fromis_9 means “from idol school” the show that formed them and there’s 9 members (8 now after Gyuri left)I've already answered a similar thread a while back.
In that thread, I mentioned these two groups as well.
fromis_9 -- According to Wikipedia, it was meant to be pronounced like the word "promise", but with the letter F.
In the Korean alphabet, there is no F letter, but there is a P so the label could have just logically and easily used Promis_9 as the name and not confuse others.
(G)I-DLE -- When I first saw this, I thought the G was silent because it was inside the parentheses, referring to them as just I-DLE.
So, I actually researched it in Wikipedia, and surprisingly the G was supposed to be pronounced.
Is TO1 “toi/toy” or “two one”? lolD1CE.
I cannot convince my brain that it's pronounced D-Once
Unfortunately, neither. They're all separately pronounced. "tee-oh-one".Is TO1 “toi/toy” or “two one”? lol
I stand corrected.fromis_9 means “from idol school” the show that formed them and there’s 9 members (8 now after Gyuri left)
IT'S NOT "TO ANYONE"???tbh I spent a lot of time pronouncing it Two-Ehn-Eee-Wun instead of 21 for 2NE1 so there's that.
So, it wasn't only me! It's so deceptive, right?I can't not pronounce the G in (G)I-dle. lol
