Maybe it’s because they’re one of the younger members or maybe they’re younger than you, or maybe its just they seem very innocent to you.

In every group I stan there’s always a member or two that I have this happen with(besides B.A.P). I of course want all good things for every other member and love them all but I can’t help my mama bear instincts alright

The main ones are with Astro, Ateez and Stray Kids… In Astro it’s Sanha, Ateez it’s Jongho and Mingi, and Stray Kids it’s pretty much all the members besides the three oldest I honestly can’t really explain why for any of them besides that when I first learned about all of them they all just radiated little brother energy to me and I must now protect them at all costs.

I'd say probably Changkyun and Youngjae, despite them being older than me. They've just been through a lot so I just instinctively feel protective of them. Most idols I stan are older than me (I'm not much of a 4th gen stan) so it's usually not an age thing, more just members who I feel are vulnerable/recieve a lot of unwarranted hate/criticism from people.

I remember once they played that ghost in the mirror trick on him and then he started crying. Then he was embarrassed and tried to deny it and said he was just acting

He does everything in tiny and he has such a kind heart and idk I just worry for him

And one time (he loves loves loves candy) the staff found a backpack full of secret candy and they were like "give us one reason not to confiscate this" and he said "because I'm cute? please don't take my sweets away" AND I SOBBED they still took his candies away I can't believe it

and he wears his hair like this how can you not want to protect him
Anyway he's too adorable for his own good and he needs all the protection he can get
