If there is one thing that 4th gen groups have been especially good at it's dancing. You have groups (especially SM groups) that comes in with insane dance level. Hybe is lowkey also building this rep imo. It feels like now there are so many great dancers, and it feels like companies are kind of forgetting the strong vocal position. In the past having no amazing vocals was rare, nowadays you have good vocals but amazing its very rare. Or maybe im more harsh idk

Yeah, groups like IVE, NewJeans or (G)-IDLE don’t really have strong choreographies, but they are catchy and easier to follow for fans

Honestly i feel like kpop in general is more of an aesthetic than actual music now, very little good vocals barely any good dancers

I feel like kpop dances like 4th gen wise have gotten easier so its hard to tell who is an extremely good dancer when the dance isnt at least fast, difficult or requires a lot of energy and strong, sharp movements

i think groups like NJ, LSRF, Riize, NMIXX have many very good to great dancers but it's harder to find Jhope/kai/Lisa tier dancers nowadays...

a lot of choreo got "tiktoked", the main part have gotten easier because people need to be able to do challenges... a shame because the beginning of 4th gen was insane choreo wise imo
