i hear a lot of people say that their biggest fear is being forgotten. i don't relate to that at all tbh; the thought that one day everyone who ever knew me will be gone and no one's going to remember me after a certain point is oddly comforting to me.

No. Look, its a big deal for a lot of people to leave some sort of legacy through children, accomplishments and so on.. But when I'm dead its not like I really will get to experience being either remembered or forgotten. Even if we accept the concept of an afterlife, I don't think I would have time to think about who remembers me or not.

I'll say since I'm the quiet type, I've been already forgotten countless times...so it doesn't really make a difference for myself unless there's something need to be done.
