some taits of an "old soul": feeling old, being a loner, feeling like you don't belong, having a deep consciousness, being selfless and not materialistic, loving nature and animals, wanting to better the world, being misunderstood...

So have you heard of the term "old soul" before?
Are you one or do you know anyone who is?
What are your general thoughts on old souls?

Personally, I am definitely an old soul as many have said to me. It's not an easy life, but it's also beautiful in many ways. I feel like I can see and feel things others pass by hehe

I often feel like I should've been a 80's baby (or even 70's) so yeah. I'm always the outcast... And pretty conservative. But I can act really immature at times too, results of having to adult way too early and not knowing how tf that works.

I would say the best way to answer this is to say, "The more things change, the more they stay the same." While I feel I am mature for my age, in some ways I am vastly immature. Three Years ago I had this dusty ass TV from the early 00's and I'd give up anything for even a low end Smart TV that worked well, as the TV I had was quickly deteriorating. Fast forward a few months and I had a Samsung 32" Smart TV and now I'm like, "It could be bigger." Or even the time I bought an Xbox One based on an impulse..

I’d say I’m partly an old soul. While I am the grandma of the group, I can be the most obnoxious and immature one at the same time. I’m usually more of an old soul with few close friends or in front of many people I don’t really know well, and a literal toddler in a decently sized group of people.

it's like 50/50 for me. yeah i feel old sometimes but that's because of my interest in older songs and movies that no one around me cares about in 2021 or because i still use a cd player and own a landline phone or because i have worse back pain at 20 than my grandma does at 72 but at the same time i'm the opposite of a deep thinker, hate nature and am quite materialistic ngl

somewhat i guess ? im very responsible and i appreciate the little things in life, im definitely someone who enjoys some alone time etc. but i act very childlike. maybe its cause im the eldest daughter and my parents had certain expectation of me growing up
