The majority of my shelves are packed with Fantasy books so I would say Fantasy but I'm getting more into thrillers.

And what are you into book wise??

Yeah, I’ve been reading some thriller genre-based books too. I have about 10 on my shelf that’s collecting dust tho atm.
Umm, I like pretty much anything tbh. Romance, action, horror, fantasy, etc.
My favorite series is the tigers curse series.

Why only 1 Hunger Games book? Did you not like it enuf to read all 3 books? I confess i only read em all to assuage my curiosity after watching the first movie on dvd. I did borrow the first one from the publuc library before the movie came out but either nvr cracked the book open then or nvr got beyond the first page tat first time.

Hmmm, so I would maybe suggest The Lunar Chronicles which si the four dark purple books on the topmost right shelf or the books next to it which are also by the same author but about heroes and villains. It's called the Renegades.

But The Lunar Chronicles are sci-fi fantasy retellings of Fairytales so like Cinder is about Cinderella. Scarlet is about Red Riding Hood. Cress is about Rapunzel, and Winter is about Snow White. Also Renegades is such a good series tbh.

I dont think the books are as great as the movies tbh, but maybe tats mostly cos of JLaw tho. Tho i did plunge on till end of book 3 before the 2nd movie came out.

Yeah after reading the first book I just found the main character to be so...bland. And then I just was like this is exactly like the movie except for not as entertaining.

Haha, i might agree except i found the movie characters engaging but maybe cos of the actors, tat whole period-i wanted to read n like the books behind the adaptations of movies like Mortal Instruments, Divergent n Twilight but just couldnt...also Maze Runner but still no.
Give me Game of Thrones, Lord of the Rings n other books like Eddings, Pratchett, Gavriel Kay, Donaldson, n more tat dont translate well (or hvnt been made) into adaptations. Vorkosigan, Vlad Taltos to name a few othts. Tho some hv tried.

The Renegades BUT I will say TLC has been on my shelf for years and the characters and world has still stuck with me so vividly that it's amazing.
