There were some POCs in attendance at a concert Crush was performing in. He was doing some fan service by hi-fiving the nearby fans. He didn't get to hi-five a POC fan's hand. This caused the friend of that person to take to social media and try to cancel Crush for it. Obviously a fan would be disappointed when they don't get the fan service a few others are getting, but it is also completely up to Crush to do what he wants to do. People paid to watch him perform, not to interact with him. So absolutely none of them should expect to be 'owed' something extra they didn't pay for. Is this a case of a POC weaponizing their minority status to get back at someone who didn't give them what they wanted even though they weren't entitled to it? It's not like Crush denied them a job or housing they were qualified for.

It's not about being on anyone's sides. You look at the individual actions people take, rather than say everything they do is good or bad. Crush has a right to interact with whoever he wants. But the way he responds to things on social media comes off as disingenuous, ie. hiding his true feeling with some bull. Like with the Ryujin incident. He could have just shrugged it off without trying to antagonize her.

Nono, I heard about this too. I honestly think they are reaching because even those videos show he did the gesture to other people. Idk about the rest but I do think people in general are too quick to jump to the most negative thing and get offensive

The ones he hi-fived may have reminded him of some friends or family or he liked the way they looked at him. Whatever it is, that's his personal choice because he had no obligation to give the audience more than what they paid for.

He tried to do a passive aggressive apology on SNS just like he did a passive aggressive post regarding Ryujin.

But at the same time these Twitter POCs trying to paint someone as a racist and destroy their career over a hi-five they weren’t owed in the first place is out of line.
