I know one of the male trainees on the smrookies showcase flyer (but never officially announced or anything) is at snu studying business or something since he and koeun interacted regularly when she first opened her ig so maybe mystery girl was in a similar situation

The other thing is I Cant see SM going back to back with 4 member gg. in that short of time.

So it makes sense they took the center and added her to RV to inject some energy.

Herin left SM in late June 2017 and joined the survival program Idol School where she and other girls were rigged out(natty from kiss of life also.)
Sshe went back to England (lots of pics of her and Yeri hanging out)( Fromis 9 show)
one of the few solid group performances from IS.

yep there were other girls that were in sm rookies in that time i didn't post about.
it had to be crazy hard watching them debut nct group after nct group with the guys they had trained with, but never a hint at a GG.

I think now, they were locked into the Aespa concept and were trying to fit girls to that.
But that was not the type of trainees they had.

SM takes forever to debut gg's aside from f(x) where they had to get Victoria Krystal and Suili out there. (Vic was 22, Suili 15, K 14 at the time)
5 years from fx to rv, 6 years from RV to Aespa, and it looks like Haeun quit SM cuz they are still dragging their feet over the next gg.
and yet there have been like 6-8 bg from sm since rv.

jyp wg in 06 and again 13-14 miss a in 10 twice 15 itzy 19 nizu 20 nmixx 22

I was not even aware there is such a difference between BG and GG debuts at SM until you just pointed it out it must be really very frustrating for the female trainees

JYP really seems to be only from the former big 3 that kept debuting GG at a more regular basis.. but for that they debut less BG, seems like you can't do both

yep and its ironic since JYP sucked at running more than 1 gg until twice itzy. missa was suzy and friends( i feel the reason no twice member had real solo projects for what 5-6 years). WG was thrown away as soon as twice debut.

but each of those groups got comebacks/ concerts and sucked up recourse's.
for a long time it looked like SM had bet the house on NCT and got 4 mid tier(ie B/A groups) at the cost of EXO fizzling out ( compared to bts/ 17)

As to f(x) we still don't know.
f(x)'s management to this day is confusing.

Each member had a nitch
Krystal in acting (comedy and drama mostly), A serious it girl, idol of idols.
Suili Acting, Stan attractor
Victoria was everywhere like truly the first huge Chinese star in Kpop. crazy mom/girlfriend energy
Amber was a popular variety guest and has a huge network of artists friends., had the tomboy thing well before gidle did the song.
Luna was doing plays. crazy vocals.

They were popular, but musically SM went for 1 full album a year after electric shock.
They could have coined money in China well before EXO. Victoria is still huge.
She only inference i have is that aside from SM Town, only after Suili left the group did they do concerts. 1 in Korea and 1 in Japan.
so that leads me to believe that what ever held im back from concerts had to do with her.

Amber especially was a lightning rod.
You will notice that i do not think any gg has gone with an Amber type since than.
