Yeah apparently she quit because she almost lost her voice and her career

She has some of my top favorite songs EVER so I’m glad she took care of herself and her voice and can keep putting out songs now

Apparently now she’s a “flop” with her newer releases and her “old stuff was better” according to my brother, I have no idea if the gen z internet’s flop consensus (not sure what to call it I mean I don’t think that and I’m gen z too ) is bc of her less raspy sound or bc she’s doing more meaningful mellow songs compared to fun crazy songs or rock now

I miss the rock but I mean “try” and “just give me a reason” are some of my top fave songs ever and older, mellow songs, and irrelevant is still (lighter) rock and a bop I love her newer meaningful songs, the lyrics are so good

Like for example idols have had weed scandals, weed is illegal in Korea. I don’t think they’re a horrible person or anything for that but I don’t see any excuse for using weed in Korea because it’s against their law. Some international fans go and call koreas laws stupid bc of that or defend but like? If someone wants to do it, do it where it’s legal (another country where it is legal)

the translation made it sound like he was apologizing for simply vaping and that he didn't know vaping was illegal (regardless of location) in Macau and nothing about the doing it indoors which is why it seems weird to me but ig if it's illegal overall there's the same penalty maybe
