source: Banana artwork that fetched $120,000 is eaten by 'hungry' artist

Background: The art piece of banana (bought from local supermarket) that was taped to wall by duct tape was sold to buyer for 120k.

The story of the art piece didn't stop there. During the art festival the art piece that was in display was suddenly ripped by performance artist named David Datuna and eaten. David Datuna reasoned his act by claiming that he indeed is performance artist and this act was performance. Although the vital part of the art piece- the banana- got eaten according to art experts this didn't ruin the art piece. Nevertheless the gallery owner wasn't amused by the performance and reported Datuna to police, however the police hasn't arrested the said man yet and it's unknown if they will.

In good news, the art piece was saved by one of the museum visitors who had banana with him. The art piece was restored and now there is again banana taped in the wall by duct tape in all it's glory.
