Seventeen. It stemmed from being a closeted Pledis anti, though I liked their groups. I was salty about Pristin, and I wanted more NU'EST, so when they announced Seventeen would be debuted, I resolved to hate them. I didn't listen to their music, didn't even give them a second glance.

and then now i'm a total Seventeen sucker and seungcheol, woozi, and Vernon biaswreck me daily

I use to hate Blackpink. I actually made a thread about it when I started stanning them but basically because I was a Once first I was always annoyed with Blinks and wanted Twice to beat Blackpink on everything. It's cringey to me now but that's the type of fan I was for a while.

Anyways, when Jennie kept getting a lot of hate for being "lazy" I started to get mad because I had a lot of opinions on the criticism and how it was wrong. So because I started defending her and talking to blinks I became a fan of Jennie and then Blackpink as a whole.

exactly!!! Its weird to look back now on how much I disliked them and the reasons for that dislike.

I'm really glad I came to my senses as well. Blackpink has great music and I really love the members, i've started watching Youth With You just for Lisa and she's been so adorable yet so strict and I love her for it lol. I don't want to imagine missing out on all the stuff they are doing if I had just kept hating them.

Not an anti, but I associated cute groups with being less talented and childish and despised their music solely because they were cute...embarrassing. I'm a huge cute concept stan now though.

i used to be kind of a twice anti too, which, looking back now, is so embarrassing - i'm not really a fan of cute concepts plus toxic onces and the whole blinks vs onces thing, but then for a while i just kinda gave it a rest and decided to respect them even if their music wasn't my thing, and learned to get over toxic and annoying onces (and to not judge a whole fandom on their toxic fans in general)
now, though, after fancy, feel special, watching interviews etc. and getting to know the girls as humans (and falling in love with them), i am now very much considering officially stanning them if i love their upcoming comeback as much as i love fancy & feel special (bc of my "three title tracks and a few bsides" rule and if they continue with their mature concept which i am LOVING so far) and i'm so glad that i've seen the light now lol

I hated Twice for one comeback, does that count? lmao. Ngl, I couldn't believe that Signal was winning over Shangri La when Twice and VIXX promoted at the same time. It wasn't even that it was Twice but that Signal is such a crappy song to win against one of VIXX's best comebacks to date. Otherwise, have always loved the girls lmaooo

Not really, I mean I have disliked some groups sure but I haven't gone out of my way to talk shit about them. At most it's been stating what I don't like about them when it's appropriate. Since others mentioned grops, I guess i should too. These are EXO and Twice.

Toxic fandoms sour my experience with some groups, but I can like a group while finding their fandom toxic or unbearable. Heck, I find the current VIP fandom pretty unbearable and tiring.

Nope. Like others, I've had groups that I can't get into but I have never hated on a group. I remember disliking Na Eun from Apink when I was 11 because she 'stole all the spotlight' in my eyes but I never voiced my opinion on it online. I'm not on the Na Eun hate train anymore and I'm embarrassed of ever going through that phase.
