For example, onto a TV show. Then prince, now king Abdullah II of Jordan, is a big Star Trek fan. As a prince, he got to be a small part of a Star Trek episode as a surprise from his US advisor. His part had to be nonspeaking due to some kinds of rules, but he does appear in the episode in question

It was because he needed to be in the union for actors if he had a spoken part which he wasn’t
