Pro: Trees and more sane people

Pro: a lot of places are within walking distance
Con: one of those places is the fire station (so I hear lots of sirens)

Pro: I live in a large city close to the city centre.
Con: My area is a legalised red light district. There have been so many protests and even the media are now banned from council meetings because of it.

Pro: safe and quiet place to live in
Con: kind of boring sometimes

(+) Four seasons, enough snow to get kids out of school
(-) If you live in a townhouse, you gotta hope no one is parked in front of your house if you have a car.

pros: great schools, liberal/progressive population, great medical facilities
cons: traffic (though this hasn't mattered during the pandemic)

Pros: Its an urban area, so there are quality medical facility if I were to get sick; Minimum wage is high.
Cons: Its hot af.. Like beyond hot. Rent is jacked as well, as are conditions one must meet to qualify.

Pros: nice and relatively safe area. Close to DC. We get all four seasons.

It's boring. Need a car to get everywhere

benefits: idk about the whole city but the area near me is very peaceful and quiet if you ignore neighbours arguing with each other about stupid and pointless stuff. also there are many bus lines so you can get wherever you want without having to own a car. outside of the area i live in the city has some monuments too for people who like it, i normally wouldn't care about things like that but i know that from experience as my school always saved up money on just making us go to some gingerbread museum as a trip
disadvantages: the peaceful and quiet thing can be a disadvantage to some too because when the stores are closed it looks like an abandoned town from a low-budget horror movie. also there are often huge loads of insects out of nowhere... this year it's flies, last year it was moths and i hate it. on top of that for the last 2 months there are wildboars roaming around the streets just like that

pros: smaller than a big city. i cant think of anything else
cons: cold winter, hot summers, no inbetweens. everyone here knows each other and theyre assholes. no transportation (not big enough of a city for transportation but too big to be in walking distance).
