Bias with personality or cute sheep bias? (1 Viewer)

I've noticed that I have 2 types of biases within most groups
The ones that have a distinct personality and I like them cause of their on-screen antics and variety stuff rather than how they look
and the ones that are just visually appealing/hot/unique but have little to not personality. They just act like every other idol and are essentially sheep.

I always find myself connecting more with the personality ones but I can rarely find those since I mostly just watch MV's are barely any variety so I'm stuck with a bunch of kinda uninteresting biases as far as them being an actual living person goes :wonugl:​

Ok, in the BTS case they all for the most part have distinct personalities but in other groups certain members rarely speak while others show off their personality more so it's like that.

I think it depends? Like my cpop ult and kinda kpop girl kiki goes viral almost every week for her looks, but her personality is what I stanned her for
ningning it was her personality, same with vic I think
others like yiyang though, it was her face, but she's grown a lot more confident with her personality after leaving sm; she was def the variety contestant on chuang

my favourite member is usually the one that catches my attention the most but not only in the visual way since most of the time the member i consider the most attractive is not even my bias. as for the personality thing... i know literally nothing about my biases' personalities, i don't watch variety shows so i guess this is closer to the sheep definition :wonugl: while we're at it, this genuinely makes me feel bad for idols who do actually have distinct personalities but can't show them because their company tells them to act differently on variety or something

I usually go for the one who's the most visually appealing subconsciously, and then I later find out that they also happen to be the most entertaining. Then my bias might change if their personality isn't that entertaining, but usually the groups I stan have those two traits going hand in hand.
