I mean PLEDIS IS shit and that might make the situation better....
but my heart is screaming PLEASE NO for some reason....

[VillageIdiot]

This was talked about before when BH said they were acquiring the company of a "top boy group" but I forgot all about it.
Wonder what this does for Fromis since they're essentially managed in part by Pledis

[Evergreen]

It’s crazy if it’s true.

[Abeamus]

This was one of the rumoured talks last year so it's possible

Probably wouldn't change anything, Source Music is ran the same under Big Hit so Pledis will probably be the same except having someone to answer to now.

[Evergreen]

I made a thread and didn’t see that you made one lol.

It’s mind-blowing and shocking if it’s true. I don’t know what to think about that exactly but at least Pledis acts are certainly going to receive better promotions.

[BlingyBlinger]

I hope this means Pledis artists are going to be treated even better now <3

[Belgizen]

Like they were buying Cube...

[maruberry]

Fuck me, this means the SVt members are NEVER getting their instagrams back...

[GloriousHavoc]

Alright BigHit, now gimme DK rock solo

[noir]

If Bighit just acquired Pledis, then that means Pledis gets to keep all their staff and creative control and is essentially now just an independent label under Bighit. So basically Pledis will not change, it’s just now being financially backed by Bighit, just to clear up any confusion

[JakeyWantsCakey]

If this is true then I hope that their Pd48 trainee debuts in the new BH gg!

[dokyeomon]

but the real question is

will bighit disband afterschool?

[Wicked]

Get those BigHit resources and money, bruh. Have ridiculously over the top stages like bts, etc. IT IS YOUR TIME.

I'm kidding though, I have no idea what this will actually mean for them. ( BUT MAYBE )

[jasque]

I hope they save or free the remaining Pristin members

[Evergreen]

So apparently it’s not confirmed. They are still on discussion ?

[RandAlThor]

way too late to save Pristin and AS.

[yeji]

I hope this means we are getting that After School comeback finally
